ABOUT US aka What's the Challenge? The first Paul Cleary Challenge was held in 2005 with a goal of raising enough money to send "a cabin full of kids" from Boston to Camp Wing for the summer. We relied on our family, friends, and extended circles to help us reach this goal. Everyone rose to the challenge, and we were able to fund an entire cabin of kids to experience a safe summer full of great friends and great memories. Their time at camp has truly been a life-changing experience.
Each year we meet new kids who would benefit from the summer camp experience, and at the same time we remain committed to our current participants. As a result, the need for your support grows. What was once a "cabin full of kids" has grown into an entire village. Last year, through your support, the Cleary Challenge was able to sponsor almost 100 full camper sessions.
If you are reading this, please consider hitting the donation link. 100% of what you give goes directly to the kids. Let's get 100 kids away from the hot streets of Boston/Dorchester this summer and into the pool in Duxbury! That is the challenge. Please join us!

OUR MISSION The Paul Cleary Challenge is committed to providing children from at risk neighborhoods with a safe, nurturing, and positive summer. We offer a summer free from fear, violence and worries. A summer full of friends, fun and success. With a little help from our friends we will provide "our kids" with a place to swim, boat, perform, learn and grow. Most importantly, we will provide an opportunity for kids to be kids!
